Your Watershed

In Berks County, a majority of our water flows into the Schuylkill River Watershed. Large watersheds, like the Schuylkill River Watershed, are made up of many smaller watersheds such as the Tulpehocken Creek, Maiden Creek, Manatawny Creek, Wyomissing Creek, Hay Creek, and Angelica Creek to name a few. It is a strategy of the Berks Conservancy to focus our planning and implementation projects in these smaller sub-watersheds – which, ultimately will improve the quality of the Schuylkill River itself.
