The Berks Conservancy supports urban revitalization and adaptive reuse of historic buildings such as the building we call home - the historic WaterWorks Building in the City of Reading. We take pride in Berks County’s rich architecture. We continue to lead and develop partnerships to support urban greening and revitalization efforts like the Berks Urban Greening (BUG) Community Gardening Program and the Greater Reading Trail initiative that focuses on the connection of urban and suburban trails and greenways.
