The Opportunity House Community Garden is located at Beech and Pear Streets near the campus of Opportunity House. Merely 4 years ago, this site consisted of debris and dilapidated structures. Through the support of this garden’s major sponsor, The Colonial Oaks Foundation, the Conservancy cleared the site and prepped it for its current use.
The garden is now a gathering site for local residents along with members of Opportunity House. This site contains 52 individual garden plots and a common area for picnicking and play.
